Welcome to Marymount University’s Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP)
OSP is the central point of coordination and administration for externally funded research grants and contracts. OSP operates under MU’s Office of Research under the Vice President for Research (VPR). Our team supports the full span of the research grants lifecycle, from pre-award to post-award and closeout.
Roles and Responsibilities
The OSP provides support with the following duties throughout the grants lifecycle:
- Review of grants opportunities, project management, and checklist generation;
- Development of budgets and budget justifications;
- Review of proposal packages and submission;
- Negotiation of award agreements;
- Interpretation of sponsors’ requirements and guidelines;
- Grants administration and post-award compliance;
- Management of award budgets, in collaboration with MU Finance.
