Student Engagement

Mission Statement

The Office of Student Engagement promotes campus engagement through intentional, collaborative and dynamic programming and leadership initiatives. The office cultivates an environment of experiential learning focused on holistic student development guided by the ideals of social consciousness, global perspective and servant leadership.

An Engaged Campus Community

Campus life at Marymount offers something for everyone – leadership opportunities as well as social, recreational, spiritual and culturally enriching programs. Students are encouraged to become engaged in the campus community by joining the Association for Campus Events (ACE), the Co-Curricular Council (clubs and organizations) or the Student Government Association.

Marymount is also a place where you can show your spirit – by participating in spirit days, joining the Blue Crew to cheer on the Marymount athletic teams to victory, even being the University mascot.

When you’re ready for a break, you can unwind or refresh in the recreational facilities of the Lee Center. Come to the Lee Center to shoot some hoops, take a swim, root for the MU Saints, watch a comedian, musician or movie in Bernie’s café, meet a friend over coffee, or work up a sweat in the fitness room.
