Student Health Insurance

Fall 2026

Undergraduate students registered for 12 or more credits and all graduate students registered for 9 or more credits for the Fall 26 semester will be automatically enrolled in and billed for the Student Health Insurance Plan. 

The Fall 26 semester online waiver site opens on or around 06/12/2026 and closes on or around 10/04/2026 @ 5:00 pm. If you intend to exercise the waiver option, you must do so by the deadline date or be responsible for the premium charge TBD (subject to change).

If you have coverage through an individual or family plan, you can waive the university-sponsored plan by submitting a waiver. The waiver can be found by logging into The Student Health Waiver webpage and logging in under the plan summer to waive or enroll in the insurance plan.

Spring 2027

Undergraduate students registered for 12 or more credits and all graduate students registered for 9 or more credits beginning in the Spring 2026 semester, will be automatically enrolled in and billed for the Student Health Insurance Plan. 

If you have coverage through an individual or family plan, you can waive the university-sponsored plan by submitting a waiver. The waiver can be found by logging into The Student Health Waiver webpage and logging in under the plan summer to waive or enroll in the insurance plan.

The Spring 26 semester online waiver site opens on 12/03/2026 and closes on 02/07/2027 @ 5:00 pm. If you intend to exercise the waiver option, you must do so by the deadline date or be responsible for the premium charge TBD (subject to change). Summer 2027

Undergraduate students registered for 12 or more credits and all graduate students registered for 6 or more credits, will be automatically enrolled in and billed for the Student Health Insurance Plan. The Summer 26-semester online waiver site will open on or around 5/5/2027.  Please contact SHS if you have any questions. If you have coverage through an individual or family plan, you can waive the university-sponsored plan by submitting a waiver. The waiver can be found by logging into The Student Health Waiver webpage and logging in under the plan summer to waive or enroll in the insurance plan. . If you intend to exercise the waiver option, you must do so by the deadline date or be responsible for the  premium charge TBD.
