Business Administration Minor

This minor is offered to students pursuing a degree other than a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.). A minor in business provides students with an overview of the functional areas of business. Students are exposed to the basic concepts and current issues being addressed in the fields of accounting, finance, business law, marketing, and management. Given many jobs, regardless of major, are housed with a business environment, having the background this minor provides is invaluable. Additionally, students considering pursuing graduate studies in business will get an introduction to the areas of study within a MBA.

Minimum Grade Requirement: A cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better is required for courses in the Business Minor.

Residency Requirement: Students must complete at least 12 credits of the minor requirement at Marymount.
