Move-In Day
Date: Wednesday, August 19th, 2026
Who: All incoming first-year and transfer students. *Unless an exception listed below in table.
Move-In Day marks the official start of your Marymount experience. Our staff and volunteers will be ready to greet you, assist with unloading your belongings, and help you settle into your new home on campus.
What to Expect:
- Arrival Information: Your assigned move-in time and location will be emailed to you in advance. Please bring all required documents to streamline the check-in process.
- Help is Available: Staff and student volunteers will be present to support you and your family.
Tips for a Smooth Move-In:
- Arrive On Time: Follow your assigned time to avoid delays.
- Stay Organized: Use the university packing checklist and label your items.
- Stay Cool: It may be hot—bring water and take breaks as needed.

First-Year Convocation
Date: Thursday, August 20th, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Who: Mandatory for all new students. *Unless an exception listed below in table.
The First-Year Convocation is a cherished tradition at Marymount University that celebrates the beginning of your academic journey. Dr. Irma Becerra, President of Marymount University, will deliver a welcome address to the Class of 2030.
What You Need to Know:
- Be Prompt: Arrive early to find seating before the ceremony begins.
