She holds a B.S. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, an M.A. in Secondary Mathematics Education from Roosevelt University, an M.A. in Educational Leadership from Northeastern Illinois University, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Organizational Innovation from Marymount University. Dr. David Consalvi has been involved in education for over 23 years as a teacher, instructional coach, and leader. He has taught secondary science, math, STEM, and research and has been a coordinator for STEAM, a technology coordinator, and an adjunct professor. Dr. Jiyu Wang joined Marymount University in 2024 as an Assistant Professor of Management. He received his Ph.D. in Strategic Management from The University of Texas at Dallas, where his research focused on strategy and international business. He also holds a Master’s degree in Management in Energy and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Tulane University.

His research centers on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, particularly within the context of international business. His work explores how societal factors, technological advancements, and geopolitical tensions influence multinational enterprises’ strategies. He employs a diverse set of theoretical frameworks and research methodologies, including real options theory, sensemaking, and event history modeling, to provide a nuanced understanding of corporate strategies.

Bio

Halimin joined the College of BILT in August 2024. Halimin is a dedicated academic with more than ten years of teaching experience in higher education. Before joining the College of BILT, Halimin held a position at McKendree University, IL, Marist College, NY, and University of the Incarnate Word, TX as an assistant professor of marketing. These valuable experiences provided him with insights into diverse educational systems and practices in the U.S.A. Prior to his academic career, Halimin worked for various multinational companies in New Zealand, Japan, and Indonesia.

Based on my interest in psychology, the general purpose of my research is to investigate the key principles underlying the effect of psychological factors on consumer behavior and the decision-making process. Consumer behavior is often claimed to be the most intriguing, important, and complex field in marketing because it is not only influenced by numerous factors, but such factors are also unique to different individuals and continuously evolving and changing.

Allison Steffens earned her Bachelor of Arts in English, Magna Cum Laude at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. After earning her undergraduate degree, she was the ReStore Operations Coordinator at Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity through AmeriCorps State & National. After two terms of AmeriCorps service, Allison earned her Master of Arts in Teaching at American University in Washington, DC. She then spent seven years as an educator with Montgomery County Public Schools in Bethesda, MD. Chris Buchleitner joined the Marymount team as an adjunct professor in 2024. In addition to teaching at Marymount, he is also the Associate Superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Washington. Chris began his career in education as a teacher and ultimately was called to lead as he transitioned to school principal. Chris was previously the Assistant Superintendent of School Operations and Student Services. He is a true servant leader and passionate about ensuring the success of Catholic school principals.
