MU Office of Research Development, Education, and Support (ORDES)

Welcome to the Marymount University Office of Research Development, Education, and Support (ORDES). Our vision is to enhance research participation and to promote a culture of research and scholarship across MU’s Schools and Centers.

We serve the research needs of faculty, students, and staff across the College of Science and Humanities, College of Health and Education, and College of Business, Innovation, Leadership, and Technology (BILT). We provide resources for pursuing extramural funding, support for academic publications, and training and education related to research activities.

ORDES aligns closely with the MU Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) and operates under the Vice President for Research within MU’s Office of Research.

Our activities and services include:

• Finding grant opportunities
• Feedback and editing for manuscripts, grant proposals, and other research outputs
• Support for grant proposals and interfacing with MU’s OSP
• Delivery of research training webinars and events
• Maintenance of a repository of relevant research resources
