The Office of Research Development, Education, and Support (ORDES) offers one-on-one research consultations designed to help Marymount University faculty strengthen their scholarly and creative work. These individualized sessions are valuable for early-career faculty seeking tailored guidance as they build their research programs.
What We Offer
Consultations can be scheduled to address a range of needs, including:

Grants Prospecting: Identifying and evaluating funding opportunities that align with your research or programmatic goals

Grant Proposal Development: Reviewing proposal narratives, budgets, and submission strategies, in collaboration with MU’s Office of Sponsored Programs

Manuscript Review: Providing feedback on structure, clarity, and alignment with target journal guidelines; assistance with cover letters or addressing reviewer comments

Strategic Research Planning: Setting short- and medium-term research goals, identifying collaborators, and mapping out next steps using institutional resources

Other Support: Assistance with sponsor guidelines, proposal formatting, and compliance considerations
Who Can Schedule
All Marymount faculty and graduate students are welcome to request a consultation, but early-career faculty are especially encouraged to take advantage of this personalized support.
