Student Health Services

Student Health Services (SHS) provides diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries to MU students. We provide many of the routine services offered at primary healthcare offices including laboratory studies, immunizations, prescriptions, allergy injections, specialist and radiology referrals.

Healthcare services are available to all students who are actively enrolled in classes. Our staff of nurses and nurse practitioners are available daily for healthcare services by appointment only. Please call us at 703-284-1610 or email shealthc@marymount.edu to make an appointment​. Additionally, a physician and a psychiatric nurse practitioner are available by appointment weekly. There is no charge to be seen by one of our providers.

COVID-19 Information:

The University requires that all students and employees are vaccinated against COVID-19 for the 2022-2023 academic year. Students are required to submit proof of vaccination or sign the COVID-19 waiver that is located on the health portal. If you choose to complete the waiver, you must give a brief explanation as to why you are opting out of the vaccine.

Please note, the CDC recently implemented a requirement effective Jan 5 for airline passengers traveling from China, Hong Kong, or Macau to provide a negative COVID test or proof of recent recovery.
