Unlike most other master’s in interior architecture graduate programs, Marymount’s first-professional master’s program is recognized by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA), the platinum designation for interior architecture + design programs in North America and the preferred pathway to licensure for successful interior designers and architects.

Marymount’s Interior Architecture + Design Programs are STEM

The MA Interior Architecture and Design program at Marymount University is designated as a STEM degree. Beginning in the Fall 2023 semester, international students enrolled in this master’s in interior design program can apply for a 24-month extension of their post-completion OPT (Optional Practice Training) for a total of 36 months.
