Marymount celebrated its 75th Anniversary at Homecoming & Family Weekend, October 17–19, 2025. Alumni, students, and families gathered to celebrate the Marymount community through a community tailgate, club and academic events, and fall athletic matchups.

Thursday, October 16

6:00-8:00 p.m. Alumni Speaker Series – Allen Wolfe and Ben Hughes, Ballston Auditorium, 1000 North Glebe Road, Arlington, VA Alumni Speaker Series – Allen Wolfe and Ben Hughes, Ballston Auditorium, 1000 North Glebe Road, Arlington, VA
The Alumni Speaker Series featured a special installment titled The Climb to Leadership: Navigating Adversity on the Path to Success, with alumni Allen Wolfe and Ben Hughes sharing stories about leading with resilience in high-stress environments. A reception followed.

Friday, October 17

4-7 p.m. Foon Sham Exhibit, Tunnel Vision, Artist Talk and Reception, Cody Gallery, Ballston, 1000 North Glebe Road, Arlington, VA This exhibition featured sculptures, drawings, video, and photographs, along with a scaled model of a recent site-specific sculpture, Vision on the Pond, created during his residency at I-Park in Connecticut. His large-scale interactive sculpture, Shield, was on view at the corner of N. Glebe Road and Fairfax Drive.
5:30-6 p.m. 75th Anniversary Celebration, Ballston Auditorium, 1000 North Glebe Road, Arlington, VA Delegate Patrick Hope presented an official proclamation from the Virginia General Assembly honoring Marymount University’s 75th anniversary. The Faculty Halo Award winner was recognized, and a special announcement and reception followed.
6:00-8:00 p.m. Black Alumni Club Mixer, Placemakr Marymount Ballston Rooftop, 1008 North Glebe Road, Arlington, VA The Black Alumni Club held a mixer marking the launch of Marymount’s newest alumni affinity group — created to celebrate, connect, and empower Black graduates.
7:30 p.m. Performing Arts Showcase, Reinsch Library Auditorium The Performing Arts Showcase highlighted the talent and spirit of Marymount, featuring the chamber singers, pep band, Blue Harmony, cheer team, and dance team.
8:30-10:30 p.m. Halloween Homecoming Movie Experience, Converse Family Field (Rain Location: Lee Center) Attendees enjoyed a screening of Beetlejuice with friends and family.

Saturday, October 18

8:30 a.m. Men’s Volleyball Alumni Game, Converse Field House  
9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Kegs & EggsRowley Patio Attendees started the day with a hearty breakfast buffet with beer, champagne, mimosas, and more before the Men’s Legends Lacrosse Game.
10:00 a.m. Men’s Lacrosse Legends GameConverse Family Field  
11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. BBQ & FestivalFront Lawn The front lawn hosted an afternoon of BBQ, drinks, lawn games, and music. Alumni reconnected with friends and faculty and celebrated their Marymount memories.
11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Meet the Colleges, Front Lawn The College of Business, Innovation, Leadership & Technology; the College of Health and Education; and the College of Sciences and Humanities each hosted tables where attendees could explore programs and meet faculty.
