Information Technology/Business Administration (B.S./MBA)
Program Requirements
Students accepted into the B.S./MBA program must complete all of the requirements of the B.S. in Information Technology or a similar program with a minor in Information Technology.
If students would like to obtain a minor in business along with their undergraduate program as part of the B.S./MBA option, they would be allowed to apply two graduate- level MBA courses to their business minor. The students would be eligible to enroll in the following courses:
- MBA 511 Management Foundations (for students in the Applied IT specialty, this course could be used as a specialty course)
- MBA 512 Accounting for Managers (for students in the Applied IT specialty, this course could be used as a specialty course; and for students in the Information Systems specialty, this course could be used to substitute for the ACT 201 requirement)
- MBA 515 Management in Organizations (for students in the Applied IT specialty, this course could be used as a specialty course; and for students in the Information Systems specialty, this course could be used to substitute for the MGT 304 requirement)
- MBA 521 Marketing Concepts and Practice (for students in the Applied IT specialty, this course could be used as a specialty course; and for students in the Information Systems specialty, this course could be used to satisfy the required specialty elective)
