UX/UI Web Design Minor

About the Minor

This minor prepares students to enter careers that required a knowledge of UX/UI design principles as well as core IT skills. Students will learn how to develop effective user experiences and appealing branded intuitive user interface designs for mobile and web applications. The UX/UI web design minor requires 18 credits of coursework.

Requirements

• GMD 231 – Intro to UX/UI Design
• GMD 308 – Web and Social Media Design
• GMD 332 – UX/UI Design Project
• IT 125 – Web Development
• IT 345 – Human Computer Interaction
• One (1) additional course, choosing from the following:
  • IT 225 – Advanced Web Development
  • IT 227 – Mobile App Development
  • IT 229 – Advanced Python Applications
  • IT 230 – Advanced Java Programming
  • IT 310 – Database Technology
