Defining “Racial Health Equity”: A Scoping Review
Elizabeth Terhune, MS, Center for Optimal Aging Research Associate and a key investigator in the Racial Health Equity Research Project funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, presented the study at the 2023 International What Works Global Summit in Ottawa, Canada. The center’s Racial Health Equity work is centered on reviewing and synthesizing the current evidence to inform the field on the state of the science defining and operationalizing racial health equity. This work fits perfectly within the theme of the 2023 Summit, “Evidence for Global Challenges.” The Campbell Collaboration, an evidence-based organization that provides policy and research recommendations for global communities, sponsored the Summit.
