Tonye Garrick is a Nigerian singer who has lived and worked across Europe, America and Nigeria. After obtaining a bachelor degree in international business and fashion merchandising from Marymount University, Virginia, Tonye worked for UBS Financial and Deloitte. She then decided to dedicate fully her career to singing and now lives in Nigeria.
Her acapella song titled “What About Us?” was used at the Nigerian Youth Presidential debate in 2011. In 2015, she released a marriage-themed single titled “Ari Belema” which got her nominated in the “Most Promising Act” category at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
