Irma Becerra has made a name for herself in barely a year at the top of Marymount University, a small, private school that she’s hoping to build more business ties and double in size in five years. She’s already landed venture capitalist and tech veteran Jonathan Aberman as a new business school dean and increased enrollment 17%. Her plans are to launch new degree programs, expand its physical footprint and grow enrollment to 10,000 students by 2024.
