Spring Club Fair

Lee Center Atrium / 12:30-2:30 pm

The Office of Student Engagement invites all students to explore on-campus clubs and organizations at the Spring Club Fair in the Lee Center Atrium. Whether you’re into arts, sports, culture, academics or advocacy, there’s something for everyone. Enjoy live music, snacks and giveaways while you browse. MLK Jr. Day Service Opportunities

To celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we invite our students, faculty and staff to participate in various service projects throughout the D.C. area. Notable events include the Volunteer Arlington Day of Service and a finance workshop at the Junior Achievement Center of Washington. We hope you will join us in giving back to the local community this MLK Jr. Day!

McLaughlin Lecture in Media Communications, featuring Marie Arana 

Reinsch Library Auditorium / 6-8 pm

We invite all members of the Marymount community to join us for the next installment of the McLaughlin Lecture in Media Communications series. This year, we are pleased to welcome Marie Arana—Peruvian journalist, editor, author and inaugural Literary Director of the Library of Congress. She will discuss her book, Latinoland: A Portrait of America’s Largest and Least Understood Minority. The lecture will take place in the Reinsch Auditorium from 6-7 pm, followed by a reception in the Barry Gallery from 7-8 pm. Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Marymount Athletics invites you to the annual Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Banquet at the Washington Golf and Country Club. This year’s inductees include Kevin Conklin ’09 (Men’s Lacrosse), Katelyn Fischer ’14 (Women’s Basketball), Zak Sherlund ’01 (Men’s Soccer), Ashley Smith ’09 (Women’s Swimming) and the 2000 Men’s Basketball Team. School of Design and Art Career Fair

The Center for Career Development & Community Engagement invites students from the School of Design and Art to the SoDA Career Fair on Tuesday, February 18 from 1-4 pm in Marymount’s Ballston Center Conference Room.
