Note-taking Assistance Requests
Before making a notetaking assistance request on behalf of a student, please consider that all courses which have been recorded online are automatically captioned. Captioned class sessions offer students a satisfactory alternative to hand-typed or handwritten notes.
Automatic captioning requires you to select the “record to the cloud” option when setting up your class meeting. The Record feature needs to be turned-on and the resulting Zoom transcript may require editing. The edited transcript may then be shared with students, either through the link or by downloading and depositing directly in Canvas.
