Dual Enrollment Credit

If you took college classes while still in high school (this is called dual enrollment), you’ll need to ask the college or university that gave you the credit to send an official transcript directly to Marymount University.

Official transcripts from prior institutions must be sent directly from the student’s previous institution(s), and credit-by-exam scores must be sent directly from the appropriate testing agency. Electronic documents may be emailed to , while hard copy official transcripts should be mailed to:

Marymount generally accepts transfer credits if:

  • The college you took the class at is regionally accredited,

  • You earned a C or better in the class,

  • And the class was taken within the last 10 years.

You can transfer:

  • Up to 75 credits from a community college (2-year school), and

  • An additional 9 credits from a 4-year college or university.

The maximum credits you can apply toward a degree is 84 credits.

Credit acceptance is at the discretion of Marymount University. For more information about current transfer policies, see the Marymount University Catalog.
