What is in the Special Collections?
The Library & Learning Services holds two main Special Collections:
- The John T. and Agnes J. Gomatos Collection is comprised of an eclectic mix of 12th-20th century history, literature, mythology, travel literature, religion, and other texts. This collection is located on the second floor of the Reinsch Library in the Gomatos Special Collections Room.
- The Mabelle Wilhelmina Boldt Collection of interior design materials including floor plans, blueprints, drawings, paintings, and models. This collection is located on the ground floor of the Reinsch Library.
We encourage the Marymount University community to engage with these unique collections.

Gomatos Collection materials can be found in MULibrary Search by using a keyword search for “Gomatos Collection” and selecting “MU catalog” in the dropdown list.
Boldt Collection materials can be found the same way, using a keyword search for “Boldt Collection”.
