Dr. Mirian Campos

Dr. Mirian CamposDr. Mirian Campos is a Virginia native, daughter of Salvadoran immigrants who as a first-generation college grad received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from George Mason University. After Mason, Dr. Campos came to Marymount and received her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Ed.D in Counselor Education and Supervision. She has also dedicated herself to being a faculty member of the School of Counseling and an advisor for the MU UPSILON GAMMA CHAPTER of Chi Sigma Iota- International Counseling Honor Society at Marymount.

As a multilingual therapist speaking French, English & Spanish, Dr. Campos has a passion for providing mental health support to Spanish-speaking communities who are often underserved due to language barriers.

Dr. Campos currently works at Virginia Hospital Center as a Patient Navigator/Oncology Counselor and provides supportive services to cancer patients and their families, In addition to being a Certified Licensed Professional Counselor in VA.
