Campus Galleries

Marymount is home to two separate art galleries: the Barry Gallery and the Cody Gallery.

The Barry Gallery is housed in Reinsch Library on Main Campus, and is managed by faculty from the Department of Fine Arts. It hosts six shows during the academic year, which includes two student shows. The Senior Show every December displays thesis works by studio art majors and minors. Each April then sees the Student Show, showcasing juried works by students in classes offered by Fine Arts, Media Design, and Fashion Design.

The Cody Gallery is located on the 2nd floor of Marymount’s Ballston Center, at 1000 North Glebe Road, on the corner of Fairfax Boulevard. It is managed by a professional museum curator, who works closely with our faculty to incorporate their shows into our classes.
