AGING AND THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT: How Design Plays a Pivotal Role

Racial health equity” is growing exponentially as a concept in the academic literature and was listed as a priority of the United States government, yet we lack consistent explanations for what this term means. We organized a workshop to discuss terminologies on racial health equity, as part of a project funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Cochrane International, and the Marymount Center for Optimal Aging. Featuring speakers with diverse expertise, we had an engaging discussion on the latest findings and next steps for this project.


The Healthy Brain Initiative (HBI): State and Local Road Map for Public Health, 2023-2027 is here! Public health practitioners and partners can learn about new strategies and actions to implement the Road Map in the webinar. Explore the different topics on how to promote brain health on July 26th from 4:00-5:00 PM EST. This webinar will provide opportunities to learn how to take action, prioritize health equity, and shift policies to promote brain health for everyone.
The webinar will include an overview of the new HBI Road Map, discuss the new edition, and hear from members of the Leadership Committee about exciting developments in this new guidebook. Please register in advance.
