8:30-11:00am • VACCINATION (SHS) • STUDENT HEALTH CENTER
The Student Health Center has a vaccination clinic available for all students who need to complete their immunization requirements. You can also drop off immunization records.

Join President Irma Becerra and Provost Hesham El-Rewini for our morning Welcome Session to start off the day. Meet our orientation leaders and staff and get an overview of the day’s events.

12:45 – 1:30pm • COMMUNITY EXPECTATIONS • ROSE BENTÉ LEE CENTER CONVERSE FAMILY FIELD HOUSE
During this interactive session, Assistant Vice President for Campus Safety, Paul Easton, Coordinator for Community Standards Kaylee Chappel and Title IX Coordinator Brianna Simmons will share some Marymount realities regarding alcohol/drug use and violence prevention. Topics include Marymount’s policies on alcohol, disciplinary policies, making appropriate choices and reducing the harmful outcomes; bystander intervention, Title IX, and the importance of having parent/student conversations after orientation about related behaviors before coming to college

Representatives from Global Education, Saints’ Center for Service, Honors Program, Career Development will be available to answer questions about some of our student serving offices and the resources they provide.

Representatives from Financial Aid will discuss what you need to know about scholarships, loans, grants, work-study, prepaid tuition plans FASFA, billing, cost of attendance, and student bills.

College is more about grades in the classroom. In this session Aprile Preller, Community Health Director and Jennifer Gagnon, Director of Student Health Services about ways students can create a culture of wellness by promoting healthy lifestyles and reducing risky behavior.

Tamia Davis, Director of Residence Life discusses housing options, meal plans, and the benefits of being a residential student.

President Irma Becerra invites all guests to join her and the university administration for a happy hour reception at her residence. Shuttles will be provided via a 20 minute loop in front of the Administration Building.

Associate Vice President of Student Health and Well-being & Title IX Coordinator Dr. Laura Finklestein and Assistant Vice President of Residential Life, Student Engagement & Leadership Richard McNab offer opportunities for dialogue about supporting your student’s transition to college in this discussion based presentation.

Get an overview of academics requirements from university administration
