Student Volunteers

Marymount has an ongoing need for exceptional students to serve as panelists at academic integrity hearings. Volunteers are asked to serve on 1-2 hearing panels each semester. Hearings are held on main campus during regular business hours. Hearings last about an hour and panelists must review documents sent in advance. Hearings are often held around midterms, finals, and the start of the semester. Volunteers must attend a one- hour training.

If you are interested in applying to be a student panelist, follow these steps.

Application process:

1. Review the eligibility requirements for students:

  • Full-time Marymount University students in good academic standing
  • 2.5 GPA minimum for undergraduate students
  • 3.0 GPA minimum for graduate students
  • Students must have no academic integrity violations on record
  • Students cannot be on disciplinary probation

Panelists who fail to meet these standards at any time during service will be released from duty.
