Judy Bass is an accomplished painter and collage artist. She has had over ten solo exhibitions including such locations as The Phillips Collection; The Marsha Mateyka Gallery, Washington DC; The Catholic University of America; and The University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her paintings are in many important public and private collections including The Phillips Collection; the Department of Health and Human Services; and the Department of Homeland Security in Washington, DC.

She is also an accomplished jewelry designer and has exhibited and sold her work in various shops in Virginia and Maryland.

Professor Bass has been teaching at Marymount since 1984, and has been director of The Barry Gallery since 1989. Her professional memberships include The Virginia Museum Association and The College Art Association.

She is listed in the “”Who’s Who of America” and the “Who’s Who of American Artists.””
