Student leaders honored at Saints Achieving Greatness Awards Ceremony

Six Marymount University students were recognized for their dedication and contributions to the community during Sunday night’s Saints Achieving Greatness (SAG) Awards Ceremony in the Ballston Center.

The event, sponsored by the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, is designed to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of deserving student leaders, with nominations received from Marymount faculty and staff for undergraduate Saints who are currently enrolled in classes and in good judicial standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

“We support the development of the mind, body and spirit of all students by creating intentional, inclusive, engaging and enlivened learning environments and programs designed to prepare students to be active and engaged leaders in their professional and civic endeavors who value service and the promotion of justice,” explained Anne Aichele, Director of Student Leadership and Learning at Marymount University. “The Saints Achieving Greatness Awards offers us a perfect opportunity to showcase students from across our campuses who demonstrate how they live out our University’s core values.”

Student leaders who hold University positions were also awarded senior leadership pins to wear during the upcoming 2022 Commencement activities.
