Recent Marymount graduate talks COVID-19 perspectives on Arlington radio

Makayla Andrews, MS, a certified health education specialist and a recent Marymount University graduate in Health Education and Promotion, was a featured guest this week on “Aging Matters,” a weekly hour-long radio program on WERA-LP 96.7 FM.

Andrews, along with host Cheryl Beversdorf and Arlington resident Carol Burnett, spoke on “COVID-19: Perspectives Across Generations.” In the interview segment, they discussed how they are their peers are coping with the pandemic, their attitudes about the virus and their thoughts about the future.


 
“Aging Matters,” which airs from 2-3 pm every Tuesday, includes information and interviews with representatives from local and community organizations to provide advice about aging-related services as a resource for Arlington residents 50 years of age and older, as well as their families.
