Marymount Clinical Mental Health Program Ranked Fourth Nationally

Marymount University’s master’s degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling has been ranked fourth nationally among mental health counseling programs by GraduatePrograms.com, a website that compiles ratings and reviews from current or recent students.

Marymount graduate students praised the experience and accessibility of their professors, the program’s intimate class size and the university’s location near Washington, D.C. 

The rankings, compiled using data gathered between Sept. 1, 2012, and Sept. 30, 2015, encompass reviews posted by more than 75,000 students participating in over 1,600 graduate programs nationwide. The website assigns 15 ranking categories to each graduate program at each school. They cover a variety of student topics, such as academic competitiveness, career support, financial aid and quality of network.
 
Marymount’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP).  For more information on the program, go to marymount.edu.
