The U.S. is dealing with an immigration crisis in the present day, but we’re not too far removed from a very similar situation that occurred in the 1980’s. Dr. Leigh Johnson joins us to talk about the Sanctuary Movement, immigration policies and more.

Dr. Johnson also talks about how the movement affected literature, and vice versa.
