Learn about Hollywood and Science at Free Marymount Webinar

The public is invited to attend “Chemistry on the Silver Screen,” a free webinar that discusses Hollywood’s increasing incorporation of science in movies and on television. Learn how the scientific community is making the portrayal more accurate. Marymount University will host the event from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24 in Rowley Hall, Room G127, 2807 North Glebe Road.

Sponsored by the Marymount Science Club, the event is being held in collaboration with the Chemical Society of Washington’s Younger Chemists Committee.

Networking begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by the webinar at 7 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. Hollywood science advisors will share their behind-the-scene stories in a live question-and-answer session.
