On April 8, students in Professor Sarah Hardesty’s Advanced Studio and Figure Drawing classes, as well as Advanced Studio students from Professor Mary Proenza’s Painting and Printmaking courses, got a tour of the Torpedo Factory studios and galleries by Daniel Guzman, curator of Public Programs at the Torpedo Factory. We heard from the Curator of Exhibitions at the Target Gallery Leslie Mounaime about their jurying process, programs, and opportunities. Students learned directly from the artists about their experiences and artistic careers by artists Nava Levenson, recent recipient of the Post-Grad Residency and Alexis Gomez, artist.
