English Program Alumni invited to English Night

Alumni from Marymount University’s English program are invited to share their college-to-career stories as part of English Night from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19 in Reinsch Auditorium, 2807 North Glebe Road. A reception will follow in Barry Gallery.

English Night celebrates the achievements of English majors and minors, graduating seniors and alumni. The writers and editors of Marymount’s student publications are also recognized. An alumni panel of recent graduates will share their experiences in teaching, freelance writing, graduate school and administration. The panelists are: Eric Brooks, a teacher at Harford County Public Schools in Maryland and a writing consultant; Adrianne Morris, an adjunct professor at George Mason University and a freelance writer and editor at 5 O’Clock Publishing; Delaura Mosby, a clerkship coordinator at The George Washington University School of Medicine; and Angela White, a metadata writer at Crawford Media Services.

Alumni are encouraged to attend the event and share their own stories.
