Artificial Intelligence & the Future of Work

“Faculty in Focus” is a new university-produced video series that puts the spotlight on Marymount faculty members, their classes and their impact on students. In these sit-down interviews, faculty discuss their unique approaches to teaching, research and service. We were honored to have Drs. Carl Sachs and Matthew Bakker join us for this inaugural episode.

In this episode, Dr. Carl Sachs (Associate Professor, Philosophy) and Dr. Matthew Bakker (Associate Professor, Sociology) discuss artificial intelligence and the “future of work.” They also explain the benefits of their “convergences,” in which they combine their classes for instruction on specific topics.

We hope you enjoyed our conversation. Tune in again soon for our next edition of “Faculty in Focus.”
