Microsoft Teams Calls
Welcome to Microsoft Teams Calling at Marymount University!
Microsoft Teams Calling is our primary voice communication platform, allowing faculty and staff to make and receive calls directly through the Teams app on their computer or mobile device. This system offers familiar phone features like call holding, transferring, and voicemail, along with enhanced capabilities such as setting availability hours, consulting before transferring calls, delegating calls to colleagues, and accessing voicemail through Outlook. Teams Calling helps streamline communication across campus, whether you’re working remotely or on-site.

Update – Voicemail
Can I transfer my voice mail messages from the old system to Teams?
Unfortunately, no. But, in most cases your old voice mail messages should have been sent to your Outlook email as well, so they can still be played from there.
Can I still play my old voice mail messages using the old system?
Yes, but only until November 14. To play your old messages:
- Dial 703-247-8000
- When you begin to hear the greeting, press the * key
- Enter your ID as your complete phone number including the area code (703-nnn-nnnn) followed by #
- When prompted, enter your PIN followed by #
Unfortunately, if you no longer recall (or never setup) your PIN, it will not be possible to retrieve old messages.
