MU IRB Training
As part of our commitment to supporting excellence in research, the Office of Research Development, Education, and Support (ORDES) and IRB have developed a new Marymount Human Subject Research and IRB Training (see IRB manual, Section 4.3). This training is designed to support principal investigators (PIs) in developing strong, well-designed IRB protocols. By providing guidance on common protocol components, ethical considerations, and best practices, the training aims to streamline the review process for researchers by limiting the number of revisions. Please note that this training does NOT replace CITI training.
The course is available, and you can self-register using the following link: https://marymount.instructure.com/enroll/W98R8D
Who’s required to complete the training? Faculty, dissertation chairs/mentors, staff, and students involved in Marymount research.
What is the format of the training? Online, asynchronous, self-paced training designed to guide researchers in preparing high-quality IRB protocols
Proof of completion will be required with all new protocol submissions.
