Filing a Complaint

Program Complaint Processes for Parties External to the University:

For parties external to the University including patients, clinicians, family members of students, and the general public who wish to file a complaint about the program the complaint process is outlined below:

Individuals should first present their complaint to the program director, Dr. Kelly Negley () in writing. The complaint should include specific details about the complaint and any supporting documentation.  The program director will respond to the complaint within 10 days in an effort to resolve the issue.

If the complaint involves the program director, it should be addressed by the Associate Dean of the College of Health and Education, Dr.Megan Mahowald ().

The expectation is that the complaint can be satisfactorily resolved at the program level. The Program Director (or the Associate Dean in event the complaint involves the Program Director) will provide a written description of the resolution to the complainant.

Any individual who wishes to pursue a complaint beyond the program level may submit a written complaint to the Dean of the College of Health and Education. The Dean will provide a written description of the resolution to the complainant and the Program Director.
