2021 Horizons Design + Art Collegiate Exhibition

The 2021 Horizons Design + Art Exhibition celebrates the creative work of undergraduate students currently enrolled at a regional community college, college, or university in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC. This juried competition is organized by the School of Design + Art at Marymount University.

Graphic and Media Design Juror: Regina Ball
Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist, Centauri

Regina Ball is a multidisciplinary designer and creative strategist based in Northern Virginia, specializing in branding, print and web design, and marketing campaigns. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Marymount University in 2012. She enjoys sharing her experiences and mentoring young designers, and drinking too much coffee. www.reginaballdesign.com

Fine Art Juror: John Paradiso
Resident Artist/Curator, Portico Gallery

John Paradiso earned a BFA at the State University of New York (Purchase) and his MFA at the State University of New York (Buffalo). He is a mixed media artist whose subject matter includes identity, sexuality, health, and love. Paradiso’s work is included in the collections of the Kinsey Institute, Leslie Lohman Museum, The Stamp Collection at the University of Maryland, College Park, and the National Picture Collection at the Library of Congress, (AIDS portfolio). He has worked as the Curator of Programs at the 39th Street Gallery, at the Gateway Arts Center, and since 2018 as the Resident Artist/Curator at the Portico Gallery and Studios in Brentwood, MD. www.john-paradiso.com
