Transfer Credit (M.A.)

The Interior Design department and Office of Graduate Admissions are committed to making your transfer to Marymount as smooth as possible.

The following articulation agreements are for students transferring Interior Design Leveling coursework towards the First Professional Degree.

The Interior Design department will consider transfer credit from Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA), Montgomery College (MC), and other accredited institutions of higher education based on Transfer Policies in the current Graduate Catalog.

The interior design placement portfolio helps us assess your ability to succeed in interior design courses at Marymount University. If you are transferring interior design coursework from another institution, you may need to submit a portfolio.

Portfolio Deadlines

Students seeking transfer credit for interior design courses should review the following deadlines. Portfolio instructions are included in the FAQ at the bottom of this page.

  • Fall start: May 15 + August 1
