International Travel Committee
Embracing a global perspective is important, but it must go hand in hand with ensuring the safety of our students, staff and faculty.
In support of Marymount University’s continued commitment to safe, strategic and globally engaged academic initiatives, the International Travel Committee (ITC), at the direction of the Provost, is responsible for reviewing, evaluating and approving university sponsored international travel for students, faculty and staff. The term “university sponsored” is as defined in the University’s Travel Policy.
This committee plays a critical role in:
- Ensuring that international travel aligns with institutional purpose and priorities,
- Compiling relevant risk management protocols, and
- Upholding our commitment to safety, equity, academic excellence and the welfare of our university community.
