Safety & Emergency Considerations for Students with Disabilities
Students are strongly encouraged to plan safety and emergency considerations as soon as possible after acceptance into the university.
- SAS, Residential Life & Housing – Office of Student Living, and Campus Safety & Emergency Management offices are available to partner with students requesting special safety and emergency planning provisions for any unique needs.
- SAS explores reasonable accommodations intended to support student safety considerations during emergency situations. SAS authorizes accommodations. However, the implementation of emergency evacuation and other protocols is shared between the Campus Safety & Emergency Management office and Residential Life & Housing.
