User Account

Your Marymount user account gives you access to network resources like the Internet, Workday, Canvas, and Microsoft 365 applications.

If you are a student, your user account name is composed of your initials and the last five digits of your Marymount ID number (e.g. cv013480). If you are a faculty or staff member, your user account name is composed of your first initial and last name truncated to a total of 8 characters (e.g. cpeterso). The user account name is always written in lowercase.

Take care not to confuse your user account name with either your Marymount ID number or your Marymount email address.

Using Your Wireless Device on the Marymount Network

In order to use Marymount’s wireless network, devices first need to be registered for full access. This can be done at:

• Laptops, iPhone, Android, iPad for computers and mobile phones using the MUSaint network
• Gaming systems, televisions, and other wireless devices for other types of equipment using the MUDevices network

Guest access without registration is available for limited Internet use by selecting the MUGuest network.
