Biography
Dr. Catherine England spent her early career in regulatory policy analysis in Washington, D.C., with a special emphasis on financial institution regulation. She served as an editor of The Cato Journal and Regulation magazine before becoming a full-time faculty member in the mid-1990s. Dr. England joined the Marymount faculty in 1998. She served as the associate dean for the School of Business from 2006-2016 before returning to the faculty.
Dr. England has visited all 50 states and more than a dozen foreign countries. She continues to look for opportunities to travel, including with students. When she’s not in the classroom, Dr. England enjoys watching sports and reading, everything from mysteries and science fiction to memoirs and histories.
