Holiday Schedule

Marymount University’s Regular full-time employees will have the following paid holidays. In the event of significant weather-related or emergency closing, the University reserves the right to modify this schedule.

While this holiday schedule is generally consistent with the University Academic Calendar, days on which no classes are held are not designated as holidays.

• New Year’s Day: Monday, January 1, 2024
• Martin Luther King Jr.: Monday, January 15, 2024
• Good Friday: Friday, March 29, 2024
• Memorial Day: Monday, May 27, 2024
• Juneteenth: Wednesday, June 19, 2024
• Independence Day: Thursday, July 4, 2024
• Labor Day: Monday, September 2, 2024
• Veterans Day: Monday, November 11, 2024
• Thanksgiving Day: Thursday, November 28, 2024
• Day after Thanksgiving: Friday, November 29, 2024
• Christmas Eve: Tuesday December 24, 2024
• Christmas Day: Wednesday, December 25, 2024
• Winter Break: Thursday, December 26, 2024 – Wednesday, January 1, 2025

Note: In addition to University holidays, don’t forget to use your floating holidays.  As a reminder, employees are awarded two (2) floating holidays per calendar year at their discretion.
