Barry Harte

Vice President for Finance and Operations & Treasurer

Barry joined Marymount in December of 2020, overseeing the operations of financial affairs, human resources, facilities, information technology, public safety, and auxiliary services. He leads the University’s efforts to ensure financial stability, create new revenue streams, build partnerships and champion issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion. He has wide-ranging experience with financial resource planning and analysis for near and long-term operating and capital plans. Barry holds a J.D. from Golden Gate University, a M.B.A. in Organizational Behavior and a M.H.A. in Operations Management from Georgia State University and a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Florida.

Oñyel Bhola

Associate Vice President for Facilities, Planning, and Operations

Oñyel Bhola came to Marymount in 2022 and is the University’s Associate Vice President for Facilities, Planning, and Operations. Within her purview are Facilities Management, Campus Services, Design and Construction, Marymount Transportation, Parking and Traffic, and Housekeeping services. As a licensed architect and facility professional with over 2.5 decades of rich experience in higher education, Oñyel is passionate and has a steadfast focus on service and client satisfaction with an emphasis on creating spaces that blend functionality with aesthetic appeal. When asked what brought her to Marymount, her response was “Marymount’s campus is such a unique place to live and study and this is such a unique point in its history. I am very proud to have been selected as the new AVP and look forward to supporting the leadership team as they shepherd this new phase in Marymount history”.

Jenn Luling

Associate Vice President for Human Resources

A highly accomplished executive accustomed to shaping and leading human resources, Jenn joined Marymount in 2023 as Associate Vice President for Human Resources. She is responsible for guiding our Human Resource strategies; for helping to ensure the well-being of all our employees; and for nurturing a work environment where all Saints thrive. Jenn leads a team of human resource professionals in developing innovative programs and initiatives that support our employees’ growth, engagement, and happiness. With ten years of executive level Higher Education human resources experience, Jenn earned her bachelor’s degree from Towson University, holds Senior Certified Professional status within the Society for Human Resource Management and Human Resources Certification Institute, and is also certified in Professional Coaching.

Mutale Sokoni

Associate Vice President for Finance

Mutale Sokoni is the Associate Vice President for Finance and provides leadership to all financial services including Accounting, Audit & Treasury; Procurement & Contract Management; Insurance & Risk Management; Budget and Financial Systems; Accounts Payable & Vendor Management; Payroll & Benefits Compliance; and to the Bursar and Student Accounts. Mutale enjoys getting involved in his community and prior to relocating to the DMV served as the Chair of the Finance Committee on the boards of Hospicare & Palliative Care Services of Tompkins and Cortland Counties in New York and the Community School of Music and Arts in Ithaca, New York. Mutale also served on the board of the Drop-in Children’s Center in Ithaca, New York. Some of his favorite things about Marymount are the people that he works with and how that work positively impacts our students.

Carl Whitman

Associate Vice President & CIO

Carl came to Marymount in May of 2020 with the goal of implementing Workday as part of the university’s digital transformation. He has extensive experience managing all aspects of information technology used to support academic, administrative, and library functions in public and private, four-year and two-year institutions. Carl was also a founding employee of the Washington Research Library Consortium. He has provided technology consulting services for the Smithsonian Institution and several universities. Carl holds a Master of International Service degree from the School of International Service at American University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion, also from American.

Greg Bibb

Assistant Vice President for Culinary and Retail Operations

Greg Bibb, Assistant Vice President for Culinary and Retail Operations, joined Marymount in March 2022, and provides exceptional dining experiences for Marymount students and staff alike. Chef Greg pursued his culinary education at The International Culinary School of the Art Institute of Washington. His remarkable talent and dedication earned him the prestigious Titanium Chef award, recognized as the pinnacle of culinary achievement within the Institute and often likened to the renowned Iron Chef title. He also holds the esteemed distinction of being a Certified Executive Chef through the Culinary Federation, a testament to his exceptional skills and professionalism in the field. Since 2010 Chef Greg has served higher education and continues to create innovative and delectable meals right here at Marymount University.

Richard McNab

Assistant Vice President for Student Living and Engagement

Richard McNab joined Marymount University in June 2021, currently serving as the Assistant Vice President for Student Living and Engagement. He oversees a comprehensive portfolio of student living and engagement services, with a focus on creating a vibrant and supportive campus environment. Richard has an unwavering commitment to enriching student life and fostering student success. When asked why he enjoys being at Marymount, Richard replied, “Working at Marymount is incredibly fulfilling due to its supportive community and commitment to excellence, diversity, and professional development. The opportunity to positively impact students’ lives and be a part of an inclusive and inspiring environment makes every day rewarding.” Richard holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (International Business) from St. Thomas University and a Master of Education degree, also from St. Thomas University.
