Mary Temple, a graduate student in interior design at Marymount University, is one of seven students in the Washington, D.C., area to receive a scholarship from The Network of the Hospitality Industry (NEWH).
“It is certainly a nice way to start off the year,” said Temple, who expects to complete her master’s degree in May. Her award is for $2,000.
The Roanoke native is currently an intern at OTJ Architects.
