Founders Day Celebration

On Wednesday, February 25th, we will celebrate Founders Day, which honors Marymount University’s founding order, the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM). All students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate. The celebration begins with Mass at 10:30 a.m. in the Sacred Heart of Mary Chapel. Luncheon in Gerard Dining Hall follows at 11:45 p.m. The luncheon keynote speaker will be Sr. Veronica Brand, RSHM, who will discuss some historical perspectives of the order’s service outreach and how that continues in part today with her work as the RSHM, Non-Governmental Organization Representative to the United Nations.  We hope that you will join in this celebration, as we honor the women of faith whose vision and effort created the strong foundation upon which Marymount University is built.
