Renewal of Accommodations

All accommodations may be reviewed each semester to assure they serve the purposes for which they are intended.  In most cases, this means identical accommodations are renewed for the following semester.  In some cases, accommodations may change per:

  • Students’ report on accommodations effectiveness during the previous semester.
  • Students’ presentation of new documentation and/or recommendations which suggest that different accommodations be used.
  • Students’ change in condition/impairment which may deem some formerly used accommodations as no longer necessary and other, new accommodations as needed going forward.
  • Students’ change from a significantly impairing condition to a point in which accommodations are no longer needed.
