SAS Policies

Policies interpret and practically implement federal disabilities compliance directives.  Policies are a system of procedures and protocols that guide decision making so that fair, consistent, executable, enforceable and measurable accommodations are authorized and implemented.  Ultimately, policies are in place with the goal of achieving rational outcomes in support of students while following federal disabilities compliance directives.  Non-compliance with the University’s SAS policies, including participation in the interactive process, may affect students’ abilities to obtain accommodations regarding both current and future requests.
