Extra time for exams and/or assignments are not typical accommodations for students with deafness or hearing impairments. These accommodations are most frequently considered for students with learning disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, and/or mobility impairments.
English as a second language issues do not necessarily qualify a student for accommodations. The language of instruction at Marymount University is English. All students are expected to be proficient in the English language for communication during MU-sponsored classes, programs and activities.
